H/t Larwyn. This appeared on Dan Spencer's Examiner blog:

Senator Barack Obama received a $101,332 bonus from American International Group in the form of political contributions according to Opensecrets.org. The two biggest Congressional recipients of bonuses from the A.I.G. are - Senators Chris Dodd and Senator Barack Obama.

This story is not true and it's a kind of spin you often see in the media on campaign donations. Individual citizens who happen to work at AIG gave that. Janitors, clerks and execs combined in their personal money. P.S. John McCain was 3rd on the AIG list with 60k, but when someone writes a dishonest con job don't expect full disclosure.
